    Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

    Salary Range: $30.92 - $32.96 per hour

    Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with no weekend rotation

    Location: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping patients improve their physical well-being and a desire to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions and injuries.

    - Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.

    - Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

    - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to be performed at home.

    - Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and provide updates on patient progress and treatment plans.

    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

    - Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

    - Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    - Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution.

    - State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

    - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting.

    - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    - Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

    - Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
