Physical Therapist Assistant FT/PRN - Boerne/Hill Country

We are looking for a fulltime and PRN PTAs Boerne/ Hill Country area to provide coordinated physical therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist in the home as prescribed by the attending Provider. administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities to patients.

Educational Requirements:

• graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy

Licensing/Certification/Registration Requirements:

• current PTA license issued by the State of Texas and current CPR

Physical Requirements:

• able to stand, sit, bend, stoop, push, pull, and heavy lifting
• able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to prospective patient’s residences

Responsibilities:

• administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist
• administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water and electrical modalities to patients
• applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in performing patient care activities
• promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, through education, coaching, and other assistance as necessary
• must have a reliable means of transportation, proof of financial responsibility (car insurance and a valid state driver’s license)

Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour


Expected hours: 

• 30- 40 per week Fulltime
• 8-30 per week PRN
