Physical Therapist Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, restore function, and achieve rehabilitation goals while ensuring compliance with all applicable clinical and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment while maintaining a safe clinical environment.
- Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers regarding treatment activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, required training, and continuing education opportunities.
- Follow OSHA, Medicare, state regulations, and organizational policies related to patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or an equivalent internationally recognized program.
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license or certification in the applicable state.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and clinical documentation.

- Previous experience in an outpatient, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing environment.
