    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide quality rehabilitation services to our residents. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and committed to helping residents improve mobility, regain independence, and achieve their therapy goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the Physical Therapist in providing high-quality physical therapy services to residents
    • Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
    • Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, transfers, gait training, and other functional activities
    • Document resident progress, responses, and outcomes accurately and timely
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, resident-centered care
    • Educate residents and families on treatment plans, exercises, and safety techniques
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive treatment environment

    Qualifications

    • Current State PTA License (or eligible)
    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
    • CPR certification preferred
    • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care
