We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a strong interest or background in Vestibular Rehabilitation to join our team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in delivering specialized therapy to patients experiencing dizziness, balance disorders, vertigo, and other vestibular dysfunctions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with vestibular and balance disorders.
  • Guide patients through prescribed exercises and interventions designed to improve balance, coordination, and reduce dizziness.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety precautions.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and best outcomes.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay current with best practices in vestibular rehab.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current PTA license in the state of [Insert State].
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
  • Previous experience or training in vestibular rehab is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills:
