Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time | On-Site Core Medical Center Blue Springs, MO & Overland Park, KS
Compensation: $23.00–$38.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, availability, and licensure
Core Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team.
This is an on-site position working under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by supervising Physical Therapists.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities.
- Monitor patient performance and response to treatment.
- Document patient progress and communicate findings to supervising therapists.
- Educate patients on prescribed home exercise programs.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused treatment environment.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation staff.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license in Missouri and/or Kansas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation experience.
- Workers' compensation or occupational medicine experience.
