The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers school-based services for our students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success, maintain required documentation, participate in ARD/IEP processes where applicable, and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Assist with mobility and motor interventions.
• Document student progress.
• Support adaptive equipment implementation.
• Participate in IEP/ARD meetings as requested.
• Collaborate with teachers and families.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Ensure student safety.
• Follow district policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Certifications

Associate degree and active Texas PTA license.

Preferred Qualifications

• School or pediatric experience.
• Strong communication.
• Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes.
