Job Description:

Coral Rehabilitation & Nursing of Austin is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house subacute rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care that helps patients regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve greater functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility assistance
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic rehabilitation environment

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current Texas PTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in subacute or skilled nursing setting preferred, but not required
