Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract

  • Pay Rate: $71.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day (3x8 Hours), 8:00 16:00

Job Summary

This is a Physical Therapist (Acute Care) travel/contract opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital in Chewelah, WA. The position is generally 0.6 FTE, Monday Friday (with flexibility also for Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday). Workday varies based on hospital census. The primary need will be working inpatient therapy at the facility in Chewelah, but the traveler therapist may float to other facilities based on facility need and the ability of the therapist (to include facilities in Colville and Spokane).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient physical therapy services in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Float between units per unit needs.
  • Adapt schedule and workday based on hospital census.
  • Float to other facilities (Colville and Spokane) based on facility need and therapist ability.
  • Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5 10.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work a 0.6 FTE schedule, Monday Friday (with flexibility for Monday Thursday or Tuesday Friday rotations).
  • Ability to float between units and facilities as needed.
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system.

Education Requirements

  • WA State PT License required (1st timer Washington State license required).
