    Physical Therapist - Acute Care

    Locations: Mon Harrison in Bridgeport, WV and Mon Marion in Whitehall, WV

    Schedule: Part-time, Weekdays, 20-30 hours per week

    HealthWorks is proud to continue serving as the rehabilitation provider within the MonHealth and Vandalia Health systems. Mon Harrison, our newest hospital location, is currently under development at Charles Pointe Crossing in Bridgeport. This 40,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art small-format hospital is modeled after the highly successful Mon Marion facility and represents an exciting opportunity for future growth.

    We are seeking a dependable and flexible part-time Physical Therapist to provide care at both Mon Harrison and Mon Marion. We anticipate an initial schedule of 20-30 hours per week, with strong potential to grow into a full-time position as patient demand increases. In fact, plans are already underway to expand our rehabilitation space within Mon Harrison, making this an excellent opportunity to join a growing program and help shape its future.

    Please note: New graduates are welcome to apply; previous experience is preferred.

    We provide advanced treatment and comprehensive care to best address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with:

    • Brain Injury
    • Spinal Cord Injury
    • Stroke
    • Amputation
    • Neurological Disorders
    • Orthopedic Conditions
    • Multiple Traumas

    Schedule:

    Weekdays (Monday - Friday), and we can be flexible on your start and end times between the MonHealth facilities. Weekend and Holiday coverage is not required; however, it would offer more hours for those PTs who are interested

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver exceptional rehabilitation: evaluate, treat, direct, and document
    • Stay compliant with state, local, and federal regulations
    • Communicate openly with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians
    • Participate in team meetings

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
    • Current State physical therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
    • CPR certification
