    Physical Performance Specialist (PPS)

    Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001/20000/27001 Certified, CMMI Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 38 years' experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces with a business line dedicated to providing Healthcare and Human Performance support services.

    Overview: SRI is seeking Physical Performance Specialists to support Army National Guard H2F Performance Teams. The PPS will design, administer, and evaluate evidence-based strength, conditioning, recovery, and movement programs that improve Soldier physical performance, readiness, and injury prevention. The position will also mentor unit H2F personnel and integrate physical-readiness programming with unit missions, Army fitness requirements, and other H2F domains.

    Tasks & Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement command-specific Physical Readiness Training Programs and Special Conditioning Programs.
    • Design and lead comprehensive, periodized strength and conditioning programs.
    • Align programming with the Army Fitness Test and unit Mission Essential Task Lists.
    • Provide expert instruction on exercise technique and safety.
    • Develop scalable training templates, exercise-demonstration resources, and equipment-modification guides.
    • Support musculoskeletal injury-risk mitigation.
    • Coordinate with HPT and unit medical personnel on reconditioning programs for Soldiers returning from injury.
    • Mentor H2F Integrators and Master Fitness Trainers.
    • Provide hands-on instruction to improve unit capability to conduct safe and effective physical training.
    • Develop and contribute to curricula, resource libraries, mentorship packages, reports, and H2F implementation strategies.
    • Participate in HPT meetings, planning sessions, and working groups.
    • Travel to supported Army National Guard training events and locations.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
    • Master's degree highly desired.
    • Current Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association; or
    • Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) credential from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
    • Current BLS/CPR with AED certification.
    • Minimum of three years of recent experience designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for tactical populations or collegiate/professional athletic teams.
    • Must be capable of lifting and manipulating loads up to 45 pounds.
    • Must be capable of training with Soldiers in varied weather conditions.
    • Must be able to hike over rough terrain and function in austere environments.
    • Must maintain required credentials and certifications.
    • Must possess a valid driver's license.
    • Must be willing and able to travel and work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    Must meet applicable Tier 1 investigation requirements. Certain positions/locations may require Interim Secret or Secret eligibility as designated by the Government.
