    Description

    AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to join our growing inpatient rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, mission-driven environment focused on helping patients regain function, maximize independence, and achieve their highest quality of life.

    As a member of our inpatient rehabilitation program, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients recovering from stroke, neurologic disorders, orthopedic conditions, traumatic injuries, and medical debility.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide medical management of inpatient rehabilitation patients
    • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and ongoing assessments
    • Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams, including therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and specialists
    • Perform daily patient rounding and oversee rehabilitation treatment plans
    • Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care
    • Develop individualized care plans focused on functional recovery and patient-centered outcomes
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards for inpatient rehabilitation services

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty
    • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience)
    • Eligible for or active Georgia medical license
    • DEA license (or ability to obtain)
    • Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred)
    • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
