    Job Summary:

    CarePartners Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team in Asheville, North Carolina.

    This is an opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting caring for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, orthopedic trauma, debility, and other complex medical conditions. The APP will work closely with physiatrists, nursing, therapy services, case management, and consulting specialists to provide comprehensive inpatient care focused on maximizing patient recovery and independence.

    Qualified Candidates

    • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
    • BLS certification 
    • Current North Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
    • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
    • Prior experience in inpatient rehabilitation, hospital medicine, internal medicine, neurology, orthopedics, or other inpatient-focused specialties preferred
    Position Highlights
    • Inpatient-only rehabilitation practice
    • 4, 10-hour shifts/week
    • Shared call responsibilities with home call coverage
    • Work alongside an experienced team of physiatrists and rehabilitation professionals
    • Manage medically complex patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, including admissions, daily follow-up care, and discharge planning
    • Collaborative multidisciplinary care model with physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, nursing, social work, and case management
