The Trevor-Wilmot Consolidated School District is seeking an energetic, student-centered 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher for grades 4K-8 for the 2026-2027 school year.
We are looking for an educator who is passionate about helping students develop healthy habits, physical literacy, teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students, collaborate effectively with colleagues and families, and create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment across a wide range of ages and abilities. The Trevor-Wilmot Consolidated Grade School District located in Southeast Wisconsin serves approximately 450 students in the Trevor and Wilmot communities from grades 4K through 8th. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, active, and inclusive learning environment.
The ability to build strong relationships with students in grades 4K-8.
Knowledge of Wisconsin standards for Physical Education.
Knowledge of Wisconsin Health Education standards is preferred.
The ability to plan engaging, developmentally appropriate, and differentiated instruction.
A commitment to meeting the needs of students with a variety of abilities and learning needs.
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and teamwork skills.
The ability to assess student learning and use assessment information to guide instruction.
Enthusiasm, flexibility, professionalism, and a positive approach to working with students and colleagues.
Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain appropriate Wisconsin DPI licensure in Physical Education.
Health certification/licensure is preferred, but not required.
Adaptive Physical Education licensure is preferred, but not required.
