Holyland Catholic School is in need of a phy. ed teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Position is 1-2 days a week, days and hours can be flexible. Position may be full time when combined with other job opportunities. We are a 3K-8 school in a rural community that offers small class sizes and a family environment. We provide a rigorous curriculum grounded in Catholic values and a collaborative and caring staff. We are looking for individuals who are passionate, collaborative, and committed to making a positive impact.

Job Description:

The ideal candidates will effectively plan lessons consistent with the Archdiocese's grade-level standards. Lessons will need to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of all the students in our classrooms while supporting the vision and mission of Holyland Catholic School. • Create a safe, caring, and supportive classroom environment that encourages spiritual, social, and academic growth.
• Incorporate Catholic values and Catholic social teachings into lessons and daily interactions.
• Design engaging lessons consistent with Archdiocese standards and implement appropriate instructional strategies to support the diverse needs of all students in the class.
• Accurately assess student progress and provide consistent feedback to parents and administration.
• Establish clear, consistent communication with families to keep them informed about classroom instruction and their child's progress.
• Applicants must have a positive mindset as well as a passion for teaching, curriculum development, and lifelong learning.

Qualifications:

• Current teacher license or bachelor's degree
• Believes ALL students can learn at high levels
• Models Catholic spirituality, attitudes, and behaviors.
• Professional working attitude and collaborative approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Passionate and dynamic team player
