Description

Job Title: Photo Production 3
Location: Los Angeles, CA (10-7 M-F, 8-5 may be an option once an ETW is selected, ETW must be open to 10-7)
Salary Range: $47-55

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team at our Los Angeles headquarters. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our photo production processes, with a focus on effective team management and technical expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 years of direct experience in photo and film production.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • In-depth understanding of lighting and grip.
  • Experience on a film and photo set.
  • Proficiency with basic Client suite, Airtable, and Figma is a plus.
  • Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Experience with cinema cameras like Red Komodo X.
  • Experience with Blue Circle or TrakIt equipment tracking software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in digital equipment and motion equipment, such as digi-carts, monitors, cable management, RED camera, cinema lenses, and camera support.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Assist with equipment set up and changeover in the LA Icon Photo and Film Studio.
  • Schedule and direct the flow of the editorial floor with 8 bays, ensuring they are built, lit, and metered for shooting.
  • Work closely with stage hands, grips, gaffers, camera operators, and set up staff.
  • Participate in meetings to plan production and future planning.
  • Lead a shift of 3 to 4 team members, overseeing daily inventory tracking and supporting ecommerce, editorial, and motion sets.
  • Read, follow, and measure out detailed lighting diagrams for set flips.
  • Adapt to lighting changes, set flips, and shoot schedule changes.
