We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our client's team as a Smart Phone Technician. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering great customer service. This is a temporary role located in the Rochester, NY area.
Responsibilities of the Smart Phone Technician will include:
- Unbox, assemble, and deploy smartphones to end users, including activation.
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Install required software and complete validation checks.
- Configure devices with the appropriate applications and settings.
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments based on findings during validation testing.
- Maintain clear documentation of all processes and tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications of the Smart Phone Technician:
- Proficiency with MS Office, MS Windows, Chrome OS, Google Workspace, and Mac OS.
- Strong IT background and comfort working across multiple platforms.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
Pay for this position starts at $18+/hour, depending on experience.
