    As a Benefits and Eligibility Specialist, you will be responsible for:

    • Reviewing applications for various public assistance programs.
    • Determining eligibility of applicants and recipients through interactive interviewing and fact gathering.
    • Verifying the accuracy of application forms and following up with applicants as needed.
    • Communicating effectively with applicants and recipients to address concerns and advise on suitable assistance programs.
    • Explaining rules and policies to claimants, representatives, employers, doctors, and agencies.
    • Traveling to various locations for off-site meetings, training, or conferences, if required.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma.
    • 2 years of customer service experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work onsite with reliable transportation.
    • Security clearance required.

    Preferences

    • Experience performing eligibility reviews.
    • Previous insurance adjudicator experience.

    Training will be conducted in person over a 7-week period, with potential for transition to a full-time employee after successful completion. The position is 100% onsite, and expedited onboarding is required for a start date of 10/05/2026.
