    WHAT WILL YOU DO
     
    This individual is responsible for all hospital site phlebotomy and clerical functions, including scheduling staff, assisting with performance appraisals and maintaining files. This person will ensure timely completion of departmental day-to-day activities including all specimen collections, assisting with reference tests, ensuring accurate and thorough data entry of patient information, site correspondence, assisting with billing as needed, assisting with statistical reports as needed and other related duties. This individual shall maintain a healing environment for employees and patients with a spirit of caring and concern as incorporated in the philosophy of our Catholic healthcare systems while performing all job functions.
     
    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
     
    High school diploma or GED Equivalent required.
     
    Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
     
    Three years of experience in phlebotomy and one year of experience in laboratory clerical duties.
