Aspirus Health in has partnered with Northcentral Technical College in Wausau, WI to offer those interested in Phlebotomy the opportunity to learn the skill!

• The Phlebotomy Program offers a unique opportunity to develop skills while entertaining an early interest in the field of laboratory sciences.
• This is a great opportunity to begin a career in healthcare if you don''t know where to start

HOURS: In-person classes will be at the NTC campus in Wausau on Tuesday and Thursdays starting January 25, 2027

• Must be able to attend one of two class times: 11am-2:30pm or 3pm-6pm
• Required clinical lab (after classroom course) will be scheduled between the student and site manager.
• There are limited spots to complete clinicals at the Wausau Hospital, and traveling outside of the area may be required

Experience/Qualifications

• YA require working a minimum of 450 hours and take related high school or college classes to enhance their worksite experiences.
• High school juniors and seniors from participating North Central Wisconsin School-to-Career Partnership schools are eligible to participate.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, background and reference check
• Must be able to work a minimum 48 hours every two weeks after course completion if not in high school
