    Contract Details:
    Position Type: Contract
    Contract Duration: 2 Months
    Start: As Soon As Possible
    Pay Rate: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

    Schedule / Shift:
    Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
    Every Other Saturday as required
    Flexibility required for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime based on staffing needs.

    Job Description:
    The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the frontline representative of the organization, providing high-quality patient service while performing blood specimen collection and preparation for laboratory testing. This role plays a key part in maintaining patient satisfaction by creating a professional, welcoming, and trustworthy environment.
    The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and strong attention to confidentiality and accuracy in all patient interactions.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform daily phlebotomy and specimen processing activities accurately and on time
    • Collect clinical and forensic specimens following established procedures
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
    • Accurately complete and maintain required records and documentation
    • Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, and the public
    • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision

    Required Skills & Qualifications:
    Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience
    • Ability to deliver error-free work in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
    • Proficiency with keyboarding and data entry
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
    Preferred:
    • One (1)+ year of phlebotomy experience
    • Medical assistant or paramedic training
    • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
    • Phlebotomy certification (required only in CA, NV, and WA)
