    Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) / Phlebotomist
    Location: Miami, FL, 33136
    Shift: 1st shift /Eastern 6:30 am to 3:30 pm and Saturdays rotational 6:00AM to 12:00pm
    Duration: 3+ Months

    Job Summary:
    The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, processing laboratory samples, verifying patient information, and delivering exceptional patient care. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, adherence to safety and compliance standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position may be assigned to physician offices, patient service centers, or other healthcare locations based on business needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, geriatric, forensic, and clinical specimen collection.
    • Prepare, process, label, and transport laboratory specimens according to established protocols.
    • Verify patient identity, demographic information, and specimen labeling accuracy.
    • Obtain patient signatures after specimen collection to confirm proper labeling.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
    • Follow infection control, HIPAA/confidentiality, and safety regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
    • Deliver compassionate, professional patient care while explaining collection procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    • Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity goals.
    • Support multiple Patient Service Center (PSC) and physician office locations as needed.
    • Demonstrate strong customer service, teamwork, adaptability, and professionalism.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience.
    • Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collection.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
    • Strong computer and keyboard/data entry skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
    • Ability to travel between multiple work locations.
    • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
    • Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
    • 2+ years of experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC).
    • Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment.
