Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Saint Augustine, FL
Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM; rotational Saturdays, 6:30 AM–12:30 PM
Hours: 35–40 hours/week, no overtime
Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) performs blood specimen collection, processes samples for laboratory testing, and provides excellent patient service while maintaining accuracy, safety, and confidentiality. This role requires following established procedures, maintaining documentation, and supporting a professional, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood specimens (including pediatric and geriatric patients) using proper phlebotomy techniques.
• Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection as required.
• Maintain accurate records and patient information.
• Follow safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the organization professionally.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required); 1+ year preferred.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA only).
• Strong customer service, data entry, and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
