Duration : 03 Months (With possible extension)
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am - 3:00pm, Rotating Saturday every other

Description:

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) to provide professional and compassionate patient service while performing accurate phlebotomy and specimen collection. The role involves collecting and processing clinical and forensic specimens, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient confidentiality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate venipuncture and specimen collection following established procedures and safety standards.
• Perform pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy with professionalism and patient sensitivity.
• Process and prepare clinical and forensic specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Provide a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, clients, and employees.
• Complete daily activities accurately and on time with minimal supervision.
• Follow confidentiality requirements and maintain the accuracy of patient information.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and represent the organization positively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following established laboratory practices.
• Be flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime based on staffing needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience Required
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboarding and data-entry experience required
• Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision
• Ability to perform accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
