Currently we are searching for a Phlebotomist for a contract role with an exceptional occupational / primary care healthcare organization based out of Groton, CT.

 

·      Start Date: ASAP

·      Contract length: 13 weeks plus

·      Schedule: Monday 6:45a-6:15p, Tuesday 6:45a-6:15p, and Thursday 6:45a-6:15p

·      Pay Rate Range: $20- $25 an hour

·      Benefits: Medical / Dental / Vision / Weekly Pay

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

·      Performs phlebotomy / venipuncture duties in an occupational health / primary care setting for patients 2 years of age and up.

·      Cleans and sterilizes instruments

·      May instruct phlebotomy procedure for new employees Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials

·      Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

·      Performs routine phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing and assessing vital signs for patients. 

 

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

·       Must have at least 3 years of Phlebotomist experience in a primary care, urgent care or clinic environment.

·       MUST BE PROFICIENT IN BLOOD DRAWS AND VENIPUNCTURE.

·       Strong phlebotomy skills, very strong customer service skills, experience w/ drug testing, reliable transportation a MUST HAVE, knowledge with Epic preferred

·       National Phlebotomy Certification and BLS or CPR Certification is required.
