The Department of Philosophy has a strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and aims to prepare students for a wide variety of professional and life goals, including graduate school in philosophy and professional training in law, social work, the health-care professions, theology, or business, but also providing a general intellectual flexibility and the analytic skills necessary to thrive in a changing world. Students can major or minor in philosophy or pursue one of several certificates.

Teach undergraduate courses.
Develop and maintain course materials, assessments, and records.
Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students while contributing to departmental goals.
Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires).
This position will not supervise any employees.
M.A. in Philosophy or Religious Studies.
Experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching in higher education.
Ph.D. in Philosophy, Logic, Ethics, Religious Studies, or related field.
