Pharmacy Technician

Works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to perform the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, inventory control, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs in association with record-keeping, patient charging systems, and clerical duties for all services provided by the pharmacy. JOB SUMMARY

Works under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist to perform the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, inventory control, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs in association with record-keeping, patient charging systems, and clerical duties for all services provided by the pharmacy.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

          
Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

          
Experience: None

 

License/Certifications: Must possess a current valid registration as a pharmacy technician in the state of California. 

           
Equipment: Computer, equipment associated with the compounding of pharmaceuticals.

 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements.

 

PAY RANGE

$23.00 - $31.82

 

The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change.  Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills.  For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
