Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support the hospital pharmacy team by preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate medication distribution. The ideal candidate will have hospital pharmacy experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately process medication orders and maintain patient medication records.
• Assist with medication preparation, including IV admixtures and unit-dose packaging, as permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by stocking medications, monitoring expiration dates, and replenishing supplies.
• Deliver medications to patient care units while following hospital policies and procedures.
• Operate pharmacy automation systems and electronic medication records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control practices, and pharmacy regulations.
• Assist pharmacists with medication reconciliation and other pharmacy operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure pharmacy environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to healthcare staff regarding medication requests and inquiries.
