Summary:

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is seeking a diligent and motivated Pharmacy Technician to help provide services to the Pine Belt Mental Health service area.  The Pharmacy Technician position is a vital part of Pine Belt Mental Healths ability to ensure that medications are filled and delivered to mental health centers on a daily basis.

 

For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt.  Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities.  Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Pharmacy Technician certification required
  • Must possess valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record
  • Minimum of two years work experience in a retail/hospital setting
  • Must have experience with Pioneer Software and EyeCon devices

 

Responsibilities:

  • Obtains and inputs patient profile information into system; resolves insurance issues.
  • Places orders into filling queue; prepares out of stock orders for pharmacists.
  • Pulls medications from inventory, applies prescription and auxiliary labels, counts/pours products into dispensing container.
