Unit Description

PCAM Pharmacy supports the Perlman Center for Advanced Medication, a specialized infusion center that prepares and provides IV admixtures for patients receiving cancer treatment. The center also provides infusion services for patients with various other conditions, including multiple sclerosis, dermatology, infectious diseases, and other complex disease states.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and daily pharmacy operations.
• Support the preparation and handling of medications and IV admixtures according to established procedures.
• Assist with medication inventory, organization, and quality control.
• Maintain accurate medication and patient-related documentation.
• Follow pharmacy safety, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support safe patient care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.

Required Qualifications

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Previous infusion pharmacy experience is required.
• Active CPhT or PTCB certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and medication safety.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
