Pharmacy Technician

Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Certification: CPhT / PTCB Required

Position Overview

PCAM Pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations and provide medication services within a specialized healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have previous retail pharmacy experience and an active CPhT or PTCB certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations and medication preparation.
• Prepare, organize, and handle medications according to established pharmacy procedures.
• Support accurate medication dispensing and inventory management.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Follow all medication safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, healthcare staff, and patients.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy work environment.
• Perform additional pharmacy technician duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Previous retail pharmacy experience is required.
• CPhT or PTCB certification is required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Knowledge of medication handling, pharmacy procedures, and patient safety.
