Pharmacy Technician - Outpatient
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Shift: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) to support daily operations in an outpatient pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of pharmacy procedures, and the ability to assist pharmacists in providing safe and efficient medication services.
Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with daily outpatient pharmacy operations.
Support prescription processing, preparation, and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate prescription records.
Assist with medication inventory management, stocking, and organization.
Help ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently.
Provide professional customer service to patients and respond to routine pharmacy inquiries.
Follow pharmacy policies, safety procedures, and applicable state regulations.
Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of patient information.
Required Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) credential required.
Active Pennsylvania State Pharmacy Technician registration/license required.
COVID-19 vaccination card/documentation required.
Previous outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule
Evening shift: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM.
Candidates must be available to work the assigned shift.
