Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician 

Location: Norfolk, NE 

Rate: $36 per hour 

Start Date: ASAP 

Contract Length: 13 weeks 

Shift: 12 Hour Nights 

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours per week (facility can cancel 1 shift per every 2-week pay period) 

License & Certification Requirements: CPhT

Position Summary:As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for processing medication orders, maintaining the medication supply, and providing exceptional support to our pharmacy team. Your expertise in hospital IV compounding and automated dispensing cabinet experience will be integral to the success of our patient care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process medication orders and accurately dispense medications.
• Maintain adequate supply of medications and supplies.
• Deliver medications to various departments within the facility.
• Perform pharmacy clerk or inventory clerk duties as required.
• Handle telephone calls and assist visitors with inquiries.
• Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations.
• Uphold high standards of patient safety and medication management.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license.
• Hospital IV compounding experience is a must.
• Proficiency in automated dispensing cabinet operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
