Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment
Pay Rate:

$16.50/hour – Pharmacy Technician Trainee
$17.50/hour – Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Available Shifts

Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
3:30 PM – 1:30 AM

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
 
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment assists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. This role is responsible for preparing prescriptions using the pharmacy fulfillment system while ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely processing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process prescription exceptions, including claim rejects and member or physician outreach.
  • Enter member demographics and prescription information into the pharmacy processing system.
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
  • Escalate prescription-related questions to the pharmacist for interpretation or processing guidance.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound calls to patients and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and workflow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician registration and certification as required by the state of
  • operation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
