Job Summary
We are seeking a
Pharmacy Technician to join our primary care medical practice and work in our

medical assisting or medical administrative office experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
In general, applicants will likely start at an hourly pay rate, and then transition to a yearly salary after a probationary period. Pay rate depends on experience, qualifications, and skill level.
Bilingual candidates fluent in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole are highly preferred.

- Process pharmacy insurance claims, including resolving rejected claims and billing issues
- Maintain accurate patient profiles, medication records, and pharmacy documentation
- Receive, verify, organize, and maintain medication inventory and proper storage
- Assist patients with prescription questions, refills, payments, and general pharmacy needs
- Answer phones and communicate with patients, pharmacies, insurance companies, and medical offices as needed
- Assist with Medical Assistant and medical administrative/front office duties, including patient intake, scheduling, rooming, vital signs, and general office support
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate should be able to work on at least two Saturdays per month and be available full-time.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Pharmacy technician license/certification required
- Experience with pharmacy claims and insurance billing required or strongly preferred
- Medical Assistant or medical office/administrative experience strongly preferred

- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology
- Fluent English required; Spanish or Haitian Creole bilingual strongly preferred
- Experience working in a primary care or physician office is a big plus
