Title Pharmacy Technician 1

Location - Shelby Township, MI 48315

Duration 12 months | Possibility to extend or convert

Shift - 8:30 - 5 EST M-F

PR: $20-25.00/HR

Responsibilities

  • The pharmacy technician would primary be responsible for preparing orders for pharmacist to review.
  • Pharmacy technicians would help with inventory management, shipping and general cleaning and organizing in the pharmacy.
  • Expectations is for all scheduled orders to be shipped out.
  • There is a comprehensive scorecard used to monitor productivity.
  • This role is unique in that it focuses mostly on providing patients who qualify free drug programs medications. With a focus on Multiple Sclerosis patients.

Qualification

Education/Certification Required:

  • High School Diploma

Licensure Required:

  • MI Pharmacy Technician License

Years of experience required:

  • 1+years
Disqualifiers:
  • No retail or mail order experience
Additional qualities to look for:
  • experience operating Scriptmed software, experience in inventory management
Skills:
  • Strong work ethic
  • Organized
  • Flexibility in learning new tasks
