    Description

    Lakeview Hospital is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician I to join our team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

    Position Summary:

    Performs activities involved in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Technician completes pharmacy functions that do not require a licensed pharmacist, which allows pharmacist more time for clinical activities.

    Required Qualifications:

    Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

    • Minnesota Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTR) - required at hire/start date.
    • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) through Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)-required within 1 year of hire/start date
    • Must follow State Board of Pharmacy guidelines/requirements for Pharmacy Technicians

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Must be at least 18 years old

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience
