Pharmacy Technician | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:
- Location: Worthington, OH – 100% on-site
- Payrate: $25/hr
- Required Availability: Full-Time | Must be able to work the scheduled shift(s) based on business need
- Shift coverage includes: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pharmacy Technician | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations under the supervision of a Pharmacist by assisting with prescription fulfillment and IV preparation workflow. This role helps ensure accurate data entry for prescription processing, supports inventory tasks (receiving/rotation/lot and expiration tracking), and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Job Responsibilities
Pharmacy Technician | RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fill prescriptions and support IV preparation workflow under Pharmacist supervision
- Enter and maintain accurate prescription-related data in pharmacy systems to support processing and reimbursement
- Pre-package and label medications according to standards and applicable regulations
- Assist with staging/packaging prescriptions for Pharmacist final review and help coordinate accurate, timely delivery
- Support inventory best practices (receiving, rotating stock, posting lot numbers and expiration dates, assisting in physical inventory)
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, including routine equipment checks for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician | REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
- Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
- Must have Pharmacy tech license in the state of OH
- Must have pharmacy tech experience
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with computer/data entry tasks
- Ability to work on-site in a regulated pharmacy environment
