Job Title: Pharmacy Technician / Customer Support RepresentativeJob Description
This role supports pharmacy operations by handling inbound and outbound calls, scheduling medication refills and deliveries, running medical claims, and providing high-quality customer service to patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders. You will serve as a key point of contact for non-clinical inquiries, ensuring accurate information is captured in patient profiles and that prescriptions and payments are processed efficiently. The position is ideal for a well-spoken, enthusiastic, and organized individual who can communicate clearly, work with management information systems, and consistently demonstrate empathy and professionalism when speaking with patients.

Work Environment
This position is based in a large specialty pharmacy setting with an initial onsite work requirement. Training is conducted onsite from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After training, the permanent schedule runs Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with possible rotating Saturdays once a month and a corresponding weekday off. The role begins as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for individuals who meet established performance metrics and attendance policies. A hybrid work schedule may be available after approximately 90 to 120 days, once metrics and attendance guidelines are consistently met. The environment is structured and metrics-driven, with extensive use of phone systems, management information systems, and Microsoft applications to manage calls, claims, and patient information. Dress expectations align with a professional office and pharmacy setting, and the culture emphasizes patient safety, empathy, accuracy, and collaboration across clinical and non-clinical teams.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
