Pharmacy Technician – Behavioral Health

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently hiring for a Temporary Pharmacy Technician position in the Fayetteville, AR area. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician with strong Omnicell experience who is looking for a short-term assignment in a behavioral health hospital setting.

Description

• Stock and maintain Omnicell medication dispensing systems
• Assist with pharmacy operations related to the Omnicell installation project
• Support medication inventory and organization as needed
• Work alongside the pharmacy team during the implementation process

Position Requirements

• Strong Omnicell experience required
• Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license not required
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience of pharmacy practice
• Team player mentality

Job Details

• Location: Fayetteville, AR
• Position: Temporary Pharmacy Technician
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Approximately 5 days or until the Omnicell project is complete
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Weekend Coverage: Not required
• Order Entry System: HCS; training available
• Site Automation: Omnicell installation began 07/20/2026
• Orientation: 2 days of hospital orientation required
• Dress Code: Business casual or any color scrubs except blue
