Pharmacy Technician II Highlights
The pay for this position is $15.94 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (no nights/weekends listed)
Fully onsite position (free onsite parking)
This position is a Temporary role
Duration: through April 2027

Responsibilities
Accurately enter prescription orders
Calculate dosing and assign directions as prescribed
Interpret prescription requirements and related documentation
Verify insurance benefits and funding sources
Contact insurance companies regarding coverage/authorization issues
Conduct patient and provider outreach to resolve prescription issues
Research and assist with patient assistance programs and financial support options
Support operational/customer service needs, including:Assist walk-in patients/customers
Fill, package, and ship prescription medication orders as needed
Support inventory activities and stock put-away as needed
Operate the cash register and process payments as needed
Distribute medication orders accurately to patients as needed
Conduct refill reminder and adherence calls to patients
Requirements
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required)
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations/workflows
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Effective communication with patients, providers, payers, and pharmacy staff
Ability to work across multiple pharmacy systems

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
