As our Pharmacy Technician at CHI Health CUMC-Bergan Mercy, you'll play an important role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely medication therapy. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help deliver exceptional care while contributing to the overall success of our inpatient pharmacy team.

Every day you will assist with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management while collaborating with pharmacists and clinical staff to support patient care. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, teamwork, and exceptional service are essential to meeting the needs of our patients and care teams.

  • Prepare, fill, and distribute unit-dose medications while performing medication exchanges for designated nursing units.
  • Assist pharmacists with the preparation of sterile intravenous admixtures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain prescription records, answer and triage phone calls, and support efficient pharmacy workflow.
  • Monitor medication inventory levels, replenish stock, and maintain order-book items to ensure medications are readily available for patient care.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy Technician License in the State of NE AND Pharmacy Tech Certification, if indicated
