Pharmacy Tech Inventory Specialist

Boulder Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Inventory Specialist to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmacy operations through medication procurement and inventory management. This role is responsible for ordering medications and supplies, maintaining inventory levels, receiving shipments, managing invoices, and coordinating clinic medication orders.

Qualifications
•College or vocational training preferred.
•Pharmacy Technician certification required.
•Minimum 2 years hospital pharmacy technician experience required -OR- Minimum 1 year hospital pharmacy technician experience -AND- 1 year retail, ambulatory or LCTF pharmacy tech experience require.
•Previous experience with McKesson, Cardinal, or similar distributor systems preferred.
•Previous experience with hospital, retail, or healthcare purchasing processes preferred.
•Previous experience with pharmacy inventory management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
•The Pharmacy Technician supports medication procurement, inventory management, and distribution operations throughout the organization.
•Responsibilities include ordering and receiving medications and supplies, maintaining inventory levels, managing vendor relationships and invoices, processing medication requests, supporting automated dispensing systems, monitoring drug shortages and expirations, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing sterile compounds, and providing excellent customer service.
•This role also assists with vaccine inventory management, hazardous medication handling, and pharmacy operations while meeting all Pharmacy Technician requirements.
