Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:
Provide assistance and administrative support for the Pharmacy department
Provide customer service via phone and in person efficiently
Stocking and ordering of supplies
Update and maintain documents, policies and forms as directed
Engage in caring and professional communication
Requirements:
Must register with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Support Specialist or hold current registration as Pharmacy Tech with the State of Iowa
Pharmacy experience is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule:
72 hours a pay period
Mon-Fri; combination of 4-5 shifts per week; 7a-3:30p & 8:30a-5p
Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs on the department
