The Pharmacy Department at Windham Hospital consists of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists who work together in a collaborative team environment meeting the needs of our patients.
In consultation with the Pharmacy Manager and Director, the Pharmacy Supervisor establishes and implements policies, procedures, and standards to help ensure efficient workflow and patient care in a defined area or work group. Provides direct supervision to group of staff in defined area. Works collaboratively with stakeholders outside of department to ensure work group is meeting customer expectations. Provides pharmacist clinical guidance to area of focus. Ability to staff in pharmacist role in work group.
Qualifications
Required:
PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy OR licensed Pharmacists prior to 2002 Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Three (3) or more years pharmacist experience
Licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut or eligible to receive licensure within 45 days
