Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1+ year experience in insurance billing, revenue cycle management, and prior authorizations
- Strong knowledge of insurance processes and patient account management
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health records systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Professional demeanor with consistent work history
Nice to Have Skills:
- Pharmacy technician license or certification
- Experience with medication assistance programs or grant applications
- Familiarity with specialty medications and prior authorization processes
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High School diploma plus 3 years of relevant work experience OR
- Associate's degree in healthcare or related field plus 1 year of relevant experience
Other Requirements:
- Onsite training for three months, with potential for hybrid work afterward
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Willingness to commit to a temporary role with potential for permanent placement
- Certifications or additional training relevant to pharmacy or healthcare billing are a plus
