As a Pharmacy Manager, you'll play a vital role in overseeing daily pharmacy operations within a busy LTC setting. What You'll Do
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing daily pharmacy workflows, staffing, and scheduling for accurate LTC medication dispensing.
- Reviewing physician orders, conducting drug regimen reviews, and supervising IV/psychotropic monitoring.
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory standards, including inventory and narcotics handling.
- Training and leading a team of three pharmacists and six technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Acting as the primary liaison between the pharmacy and nursing facility leadership to support seamless operations.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Active Registered Pharmacist license in Colorado.
- At least 1 year of Long-Term Care experience or 1 year of pharmacy management experience in a retail setting.
- Ability to quickly learn proprietary pharmacy software and adapt to new systems.
- Strong leadership, team-mentoring, and communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining high operational standards.
