Description

Overview:

The Pharmacy Client Liaison connects Co Assist Pharmacy with its clients, managing case updates, inquiries, and escalations across calls, faxes, and emails while protecting PHI. This role tracks escalation trends to drive process improvements and requires solid knowledge of pharmacy operations, payer reimbursement, and prior authorization

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between CoAssist Pharmacy and client.
  • Attend meetings as requested related to client programs.
  • Must be willing to travel (5%) as requested by program leadership and/or client.
  • Maintain knowledge of current business agreements, program rules, and process flows.
  • Receive calls from field sales team and provider offices and provide case updates, address inquiries, and provide support for critical escalations, etc. removing any PHI from information provided to field teams.
  • Provide case resolution status/next steps to HCP offices and/or field sales team.
  • Escalate any outstanding items to program leadership and internal partners.
  • Organize and track all escalations and provide insights back to CoAssist leadership on technology or process enhancements to resolve and limit future issues. Maintain all trainings and acknowledgments, including but not limited to compliance trainings, state licenses and national certifications.

  • Basic knowledge of EMR/EHR systems
  • Payer Reimbursementsgovernment/commercial payersbenefit verification resultsprior authorization management
  • Manage daily inbound and outbound call volume as well as fax and email correspondences and meet or exceed key performance requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and equivalent combination of education and experience, State of Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration.
  • Atleast 2 to 3 yearsof experienceinteracting with healthcare providers regardinghealth insurance planrequirements, previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Pharmacy Customer Service, Professional level skills in computer use, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications, and keyboard skills.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce case management systems and pharmacy operating systems preferred,
  • Demonstratestrongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills, Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups, and problem solving skills
Pay Range: USD $23.11 - USD $28.89 /Hr.
