Where Pharmacy, Business & Data Come Together
Position will support the review of Pharmacy Charging/Revenue Capture Workqueues, corresponding charge capture audits, DFP claims posting, monitoring of other programs (Medication Assistance Program, pharmacy waste, etc.), and assist with other pharmacy related job duties as assigned under Deaconess Health System.
Qualifications: Ideally, the candidate would have high attention to detail, strong work ethic, and experience navigating within the Epic EMR.
Your area of focus may include Purchasing & Inventory, 340B, Charge Validation, Regulatory Compliance, or Stewardship.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate purchasing, receiving, inventory, and supplier relationships.
- Process orders, invoices, and financial transactions while resolving discrepancies.
- Analyze data and create reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards to support pharmacy operations and quality initiatives.
- Support 340B, controlled substance diversion monitoring, regulatory compliance, audits, and inspections.
- Coordinate required clinical quality data collection, reporting, and submissions.
- Partner with pharmacy leaders, physicians, staff, suppliers, and other departments to identify trends and improve processes.
- Communicate medication recalls, shortages, and compliance concerns.
- Assist as a Pharmacy Technician when needed to support drug distribution.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned work.
What You Bring
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician-in-Training license in the applicable state.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician designation within 30 days of employment, unless exempted by manager discretion.
- Strong computer, database, and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- College degree in business or related field.
- Experience with healthcare operations, purchasing, inventory, data analysis, compliance, or project management.
