Pharmacy Assistant – Central Fill
Pay Rate: $20.95/hour
Positions Available: 2
Location: 6801 Seaway Blvd, Everett, WA 98203
Work Setting: Onsite
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule
Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Monday – Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Days Off: Thursday & Saturday
Overtime: Mandatory overtime may be required (occasionally up to 1 additional hour).
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Assistant works in a fast-paced Central Fill pharmacy environment supporting prescription fulfillment operations. This role focuses on packing, sorting, and shipping patient-level prescriptions through a high-volume automated pharmacy system.
There is no patient interaction, phone support, or insurance processing involved. The position is focused on warehouse-style pharmacy operations while maintaining accuracy, safety, HIPAA compliance, and production goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Process prescription orders for shipment.
- Fold and pack paperwork with prescriptions for delivery.
- Sort completed orders by store location.
- Place orders into totes for shipping.
- Load products for shipment.
- Support receiving and shipping operations.
- Maintain consistent workflow to meet daily production goals.
- Perform repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Follow pharmacy procedures, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
- Identify issues and escalate concerns to management when needed.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Washington State Pharmacy Assistant Certification/License required.Candidates may apply after receiving a job offer.
- Ability to lift and carry 20–25 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift (8+ hours/day).
- Ability to bend, twist, reach, and grasp repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
Preferred Skills
- Pharmacy fulfillment experience.
- Central Fill pharmacy experience.
- Warehouse or distribution experience.
- Packing, sorting, and shipping experience.
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
